Hi! Remember me?
Wednesday, February 8, 2012
Oh hi! I have a blog? what!? I'm sorry for my absence, for real. I've been sick ALL month long - 2 flu's and a cough that won't go away and it keeps me up at night and then I'm so tired by the time I get home from work and keeping up with everything got very overwhelming. I'm still having some fun though, don't worry!
and I also still like triangles, I haven't changed much in a month!!!
and exclamation points!

Efrat Deutsch Jewelry
Wednesday, December 14, 2011
I'm excited to share Efrat Deutsch Jewelry because you get to see the process of her making jewelry in the above video! I've often wondered how all of these amazing etsy shop owners that we find are making their items - and this gives a great inside look in to the process...I love it so much.
Efrat has joined my group of incredible and talented sponsors and I'm so happy to have her as a part of Village. Here's a little interview so that you get to know her as well.
Check out more of Efrat Deutsch at her blog, Facebook, Twitter and shop.
And you might want to check out free shipping!

One of those great emails you wake up to is when the owner and designer (Miss Mbarki) of a beautiful jewelry brand (Kalee, from France) invites you to visit her website and graciously offers to mail you a piece of jewelry to share with your blog friends - definitely a great email. I quickly fell in love with the variety of jewelry she has, but especially the stone bracelets. And! Not only are they good for the eyes but each stone has natural benefits for the mind and body. Each piece of jewelry comes with a card that explains whether you'll have luck, power, health, etc. I decided I could use a lil' good health on my side (and energy!) so I chose the Agate Botswana.
One thing to note...I love how the chain bracelets have two clasp options, so it fits perfectly and the stone is always on top of my wrist. Small thing but relieves a lot of frustration when the pretty part of your bracelet is always on the bottom!
Anyway, I received 2 bracelets so I'm thinking I should do a giveaway, right??? Stay tuned for that this coming Monday!
And thank you so much for your generosity Miss Mbarki!
Visit Kalee (shop). Facebook. And a cute French Girl reviewing a necklace on video :)

Under a New Light & Custom Orders
Wednesday, June 1, 2011
I got kind of giddy when I saw this color palette posted on Guisela's blog for her shop, Under a New Light. These are all choices of leather that we can choose from to request a custom order for any of her leather products! Some of the jewelry options below! (I'm thinking these in green, yeah?)

P.S...
Today I got to guest post for Marissa's blog, 'the boot' (see here). She's an american living in Italy - I cover a post for her while she rests up from her 19hr travels to the US for a visit!

my lovely, little bracelet =)
Wednesday, May 18, 2011
I recently ordered this bracelet from Chelsea at a lovely, little shop - and can I say that everything about receiving this package made me happy? I have a huge appreciation for pretty packaging and she has the coolest things going on here from the cardboard box (that i'll never throw away) to her cool business card to the sparkly stickers...geeez girl knows how to im-press! I also got these but I tore them out of their thing and put them on right away so they missed out on the photoshoot :)
And yes, that is moi, sipping on prosecco, admiring my new bracelet oh-so casually you'd think it was staged or something. Too bad that car in the background ruined the moment. And also the riot police showing up. And also the fact that I just realized I don't like my sunglasses anymore.

I think my heart delights in every single piece of jewelry found in the etsy store, Upper Metal Class.
As well as in it's clever name.
As well as that it has gold and silver options.
As well as that it's based in Portland and even though I've never been there I want to live there.
And especially all of the geometric goodness (may or may not be a variety of a certain really fun shape that i like)

I would love these bracelets. Like they were my own children. And layer them. If I could afford them.

What studs!
Tuesday, April 12, 2011
When it comes to jewelry, my day to day habit definitely involves simple earrings (like these) and one of my favorite necklaces (this Brideblu one, this one or this Noble Town Vintage one) - I'm definitely a less is more kind of girl AND these are amazing (green is my favorite color). Too bad the price on these is way high for me because they are gorgeous but my new goal is to find similar ones!
