Chicken and Basalmic Onion Goat Cheese Tartlets

Ho-ly crap this was so effing good. Seriously. Make it. I saw it on Pinterest earlier last week and thought that Friday night, after work...that it would be the perfect recipe. I seriously anticipated it all week. And it seriously delivered. I ate two of them. Then there were two more. I hoped I could fall asleep without thinking about them sitting alone in the fridge. DROOL. Maybe village just found its soul mate food blog. i mean goat cheese on savory things is like the secret of life. ok i'm going to stop.

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre, August 2013 (from when my friend was visiting). Finally getting around to sharing some pics from that whirlwind trip. I had so much fun playing photographer...uh...with my cell phone...embarassing! but whatever. There it is. Carrying a heavy camera is lame.

Have a great Monday you guys! Seriously! Do it!

Ha-ppy weekend yo. This week was exhausting for some reason. Its getting colder, I'm entering my social hibernation phase I think...Wesley is sick which meant a trip to the dr, can't get ahead on my to-do list and now I'm not feeling that great. Its 8:46pm and I'm seriously considering going to bed. But I DID book tickets to visit a friend in Tokyo in a few weeks. Heck yes. So I guess that makes everything ok!

Wedding Dress.

Obviously I'm past the season of weddings, but beautiful dresses are beautiful dresses...that one on the left is perfection. (Obv I would pair it with this ring)

Have I told you about Swagbooties? I bought Wesley a pair (in houndstooth) of these a few months ago and they are PERFECTION. They are easy to put on, washable, you can choose the color of the sole, I'm assuming they are comfortable (he hasn't said otherwise;)). They are still in really good condition which means they've survived many trips back and forth to daycare. I'm about to buy a couple more pairs for his little growing feet. They have such soft soles so I think that learning to walk would be nice in them. These definitely top my list of recommendations for babies and toddlers.

P.S. I'm in the boy zone, but they have a lot of great girl options too..

Shop my Closet

Here's the deal! I"m cleaning out my closet during the next few weeks to make room for some fun fall finds - and some of these things I still think are great finds (but I move on quickly) and I can't bare to drop them at the Suisse Goodwill. So I'm going to sell them here for cheap. Besides shipping, which is not cheap in der schweiz, but its included in the price. All transactions to be made through PayPal. Email if you are interested in anything and I'll send you the payment details.

First up to go is this Chevron Shift Dress, size Medium, ($20) from Sosie. The photo above is the model with the actual dress from the site - you can see my photo here.
*For me, its a bit short for a dress, but is great with leggings/tights.

I'll let you know when something new goes in, but you can also check back to the 'shop' link to the left.

Things to learn..

Its sunday night, M is home...all the boys are asleep and I'm flipping through pictures of Wesley and getting all mom-sentimental. I just had of weekend of just Wesley and I, eating meals together, putting things on eachothers heads, reading books, throwing balls for Bama, trying to make Wesley laugh and I can't get over it...How is he 11 months old already? Where has all of this time gone?
(i mean, remember when he was 11 days old?).

Have a lovely sunday and see you tomorrow.

Palace by Seletti

Another one of the great designs I saw at the Design Supermarket in Milan is this tableware set by Seletti called Palace - a group of fun building like designs as plates, saucers, glasses, etc - this would be so fun to own!
(top and bottom image via spotd, middle is my own)

I ended up with a productive w/e. You?
