Happy Valentine's Day people. Sometimes its much easier and more fun to be cynical about this holiday...in the US I would get really excited about having one of those heart pizzas delivered, but that was about it. I think most of it is silly but deep down I don't really mind it. And thats my secret ;) (and now i have a really cute son to kiss all day)
How are you celebrating?

Yeah I'm not doing anything special today, Valentine's is one of those adopted US traditions together with Halloween that I've never celebrated. Valentine's is nice, though:)
That is a an uber romantic picture you posted, though! I think you and Mark should recreate that with a photoshoot. haha.
Exactly Krystal xo
I celebrate Love daily - it's wonderful to have a son to kiss all day;)
Happy Valentine's!
My first as a married women and for the first time ever it feels real. Love the pic!
Oh, they keep saying happy people just keep saying to their significant other..that they love them. Show it every day with the little things.
Although, I just might buy myself flowers today, because he won't. Also, get myself Perks of being a Wallflower on DVD.
Happy Valentines day!
I agree. I'm not big into V-day, but I don't despise it either. And I also have a little baby boy to kiss all day - so why not celebrate!

Happy Valentine's Day!!
awww...you do have a cute kid to now share the day of hearts with! =D
To be truthful, I don't care one way or another for V-day but I think it's so sweet how people express themselves. And I love to see people on the street carrying flowers to someone special. =D
xo,

Valentine's Day is a little over done sometimes, but I sure love that 50% off candy afterwards. Me and the hubby rarely do anything out of the ordinary, but we got each other a little something. I got him moustache wax, so clearly we are super romantic. :)
I really really really freaking want a heart pizza now. Let's be honest... I just want pizza.
I am not really into valentines day, I do always get my boyfriend his favorite chocolate though :)

Happy Valentine's day to you and your boys! XX
Kissing my son all day, too! ;)
Gorgeous image, Krystal. Rick and I are so not in the V Day zone that it was only during our dinner out with the kids that it dawned on us it was Valentine's Day because there were so many people trying to get a table at our usual Thai place.

Any reason to celebrate is fine with me - - xoxo, everyone!
Heart pizza? I've never seen one of those...
I wasn't excited, but i'm only on the cusp of cynical. It's when other people throw their love in your face that it gets annoying.

i love valentine's day! i see it as a day to celebrate LOVE, just like thanksgiving we celebrate giving thanks/being thankful. yes, we should do those things everyday but i have never seen it as a romantic thing. ppl get so dang mad about it! what's wrong with flowers, right? and a little treat of candy doesn't hurt either.
My husband was working so we had a nice meal at home the night before, it was great. But having said that, we don't really go in for that kind of thing normally, but I guess it's nice to acknowledge it.
We just love in general, but didn't celebrate on the actual day. Probably do something this w/e since we both were busy with work stuff. Have a nice weekend.
Kiddo (5-year-old) and I made daddy a lovely "Happy Valentine's Day" card, stayed home and it was just another lovely day.
We plan to go out to one of our favorite places (bar/lounge) today, though. :)

love the picture! it somehow reminds me of paris..and who doesnt love paris :)
Valentine's Day is Mr LG's birthday, so I ignore Valentine's Day so he can have a proper birthday. But he always buys me something small, because I think that he thinks I'm lying when I say, "I don't want to celebrate Valentine's Day" haha.

Love that photo. I used to like valentine's day less, but I think now that time here on earth is short and why not enjoy this cheesy day and do silly glam things with our loved ones? Hope yours was a happy one! With your little one, how could it not be?

What a cute picture and I hope you had a great time with your guys!

Heart pizzas?! Get outta town, I never heard of such a thing. I really missed out.
I'm forever a cynic about Valentine's Day, I usually grumble and curse out youngsters in love. I truly feel like an old man on Valentine's Day.
I appear SO anti-Valentine...truth is I could care less either way...want to celebrate and buy me gifts and flowers..great...you don't..well that works too!
Hope all is well.

beautiful image!
I'm not all that against v-day but I don't celebrate it... I like the fact that my boy and i can have a giggle about it and that no expectation is placed...especially since we show it and say it (love, that is) every other day.
I must say, it was sweet to see all the guys running around the city streets looking a little flustered and carrying flower arrangements and gifts :)
...I "celebrated" by working on a paper. Ugh.
I love that photograph, it looks so natural, catching two people in love in a random, happy moment....
