I've gotta confess...for most of 2013 I have felt as if my life is spriraling out of control. Do you know why? Because I DON'T HAVE A PLANNER. I have piles of things on my kitchen table to send out, to fill out, things to do...but I haven't done anything because I couldn't open my planner, look at a week, and see what I wanted to accomplish. Seriously. I missed my dogs birthday even (happy 6th bama!). Last week I finally ordered that beauty up there and around the time everyday the mail comes my heart starts beating fast because I think its here (not yet). But soon, my life will fall back in to place because I can write shit down....I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Every start of the year I have at least two planners I intend to use, but I always end up not using them at all after several months... I don't know why really. It happens all the time.
I'm with you and I have to update my Google calendar all the time!

I'm a sucker for a pretty planner, as well. They always make me feel more organized - just by holding them. The one you picked is gorgeous...I cannot wait for it to arrive {for you}! :)

When I worked in an office job, if I forgot my diary I might as well have just written that day off. Very unsettling, can't believe you've lasted until February without one!

Gotta have a planner! I am so unorganized.. the type that writes sticky notes and forgets where they are. My calendar is one of those big flip calendars. Childlike I know, but I really visual and I need everything right there in front of my face otherwise I'll forget.

I find that whenever I do decide to use my planner- half the dates are rescheduled or cancelled making my planner more of a mess than my countertop.
Ugh.

Every time I sit down to write stuff in my planner I can't remember what I needed to write and then I walk away and it all comes back to me!! I need a virtual planner that follows me around and has voice command. Is that so much to ask??!?

I only ever kept a planner in college, then afterward I was just totally disorganized. Now, I find it much easier to keep track of things on the calendar in my phone, but I do really like the idea of writing things down in a pretty planner...

Gosh I used to live/die with a planner. But, nowadays, I've come to rely on my phone (for practical reasons). It's really not as fun as having a planner. I'm old school with having a pen/paper so I miss that part of seeing everything in front of me and also doodling. =)

I seriously need a planner too. I've taken on a lot lately. With writing the book, the music blog and just starting the book blog. Yeah I'm crazy and I need a planner too!
I don't have a planner either. I love to look at planners, and love them in theory, but never seem to use them consistently. It doesn't really seem like a worthwhile investment.

As a compulsive list maker, I really adore anything that can help organise my life. Going on my wish list!

I am the same way but I finally stopped using planners - it got to be out of control bc if I left it somewhere it was like I had no brain. I used to be the kind of person who needed to see everything written down but now I just my google calendar for pretty much everything. If it's not in there, it doesn't exist. But part of me still needs that visual impact and the feeling of writing things down in a way that can be preserved so I use moleskin or talbot notebooks to write down ideas, inspirations, thoughts, etc. I just don't use it for basic "calendar" stuff. :)
