Yay or Nay?

The last few weeks I've finally gotten back in to running after having a baby back in October and it has felt so good. I kept up running until about 5 months then switched to the elliptical...but was sad all the time because I couldn't run! I'm so happy my gym has a daycare but also can't wait until the weather warms up so I can run outside again.

These fitness monitors keep coming up in my reader and everyone seems very excited about them. They seem like a great idea, but honestly, I can't get excited about being fixated on another gadget, another app, etc. Seems like just another thing that could steal my already stretched attention!

But maybe I'm missing out on something great? Have or do you use one? I think for now I'm giving them a pass...I want to enjoy my workouts while not worrying about steps...if that makes sense? Is there more to these than I think?

p.s. i'm also too picky about jewelry to wear it, ha!
