Helen Beard

The toothbrush holders just get me somewhere, I don't know - nothing makes sense anymore! j/k. I love the art, there is something so innocent and fresh about it. And then there's the huge decorated flower pot that I would keep filled all year round I am sure. Artist Helen Beard describes her work like this,
"Looking at people, their actions and their surroundings, I illustrate the funny things from the way we live that bring humour and joy."
This definitely shows and it makes me happy to see :)

P.S. Come back for the next post: pictures of future baby e's room ;)

Oh man, I missed this one! I read it on billboards but was travelling that day....
Thanks for your lovely review and the charming pictures.

I did go to "il Tavolo - Zürich zu Tisch" which was like the "nuits blanches" in France where they had long white tables with everyone sitting on one table serving outstanding food.

Greetings,

Love these two characters, that's what people really look like in their togs! I always do that thing of hugging my arms in before I take a dip.

These are so fabulous--I just love the handmade quality to them. Making me want to chuck my chic white container for something a little earthier.
