First off, thanks for entering the Kalee Giveaway...and mucho luck to you. If you haven't yet, you still have until Sunday night. If you're lucky maybe I'll even throw in some Swiss chocolat??
And next...I want to talk tea towels!
ANYWAY,
Al, from All Tea Towels (based in Ireland), emailed asking if I'd like to check out his website and offered to send me 2 towels to review. I've never accepted anything like that before, but I couldn't resist because like I said, they are tea towels. Even Mark was excited and surfing through all of the options (we didn't agree on which towels to get but I won, obviously!)
I chose the T Towel and the Union Jack (a nod to one of my fave cities) - I let him know and he sent them right away. He always wrote back to me asap which is important to be me because I hate waiting! Plus 1.
They are pretty cute right? What else do I say? I'm not sure. I liked them a lot. The prices on the website really good (starting at 3.95 (pounds)). The only not ok thing is washing them. I threw them in the washer and dryer and the red didn't totally hold it's color - and I'd hand dry them also because they can shrink. This of course is written on the tags but I am clearly not a girl who reads clothing tags when some of my laundry is still blue from that shirt. (....)
Anyway, I love them both. My favorite one is the "t" tea towel because it's organic and made from un-bleached cotton. IT IS SO SOFT. and it's funny :)
And btw, Al is kind of fun on FB...you can like it here!

and...here are some of my other faves...

ummm.. I need a Union Jack tea towel in my life. I think I need to start on my xmas wishlist immediately.
Cool. I hadn't thought they'd be that big.
So interesting. Its just something I never think about having. We have them...but they hide in the drawer most of the time.
Really nice, I like how big they are...that's always a plus for hanging them in the kitchen. xo
I love the Union Jack Tea towel. Great review.
Oh so unique. Really spice up the kitchen without having to mess it up.
No joke, while in London one of my dancing friends was OBSESSED with getting tea towel everywhere she went. She swore they were the best souvenir because they packed lightly and were fairly inexpensive. Love them now!
LOVE the t towel! The other ones look fun too, I like decorating details like that.
These are lovely! Enjoy the beautiful day, Kellie xx
those are really cute, and i agree that the washing thing is a downer.
it's hard enough trying to keep my silk shirts clean without destroying them - when it comes to washing towels i want to throw them in the washer and dryer without worry.
What fun little tea towels! I love the "t" one!

Some great patterns - love the "t"
Ahh! So cute. I've never really thought about tea towels...don't know if I would have much use for them.
Cute! I should buy some for my Brit neighbor. I don't read labels either and if I can't run it through the washing machine I never feel like things are clean.
Some of those would make a good base for a throw pillow too!
I love using tea towels to cheaply change up the look of my kitchen
Cute designs on those towels :) I'm intrigued...
i LOVE. especially the NY one:)
Love love the N.Y.C. one.......they are like little works of art!
I love tea towels! The "t" (for terrific?) one is super cute
Tea towels are totally fun, but i can never use them! bc then when they get dirty i don't want to hang them out like beautiful kitchen candy anymore :)

Wow, these are so cool! I'm a big fan! How much fun!
I love the 'T' towel, it made me laugh so much!!! Your review was great :)
The design of these towels is wonderful. Of course, there is cause to be concerned that they will fade.
They are SO cute..love it.
I know how you felt..I just partnered up with a lingerie brand and they sent me product to review and i was like, OH NO, what if the bra is horrible..what do you do? Pretend it never arrived in the mail..thats what you do...
thankfully I didn't have to do that- the bra was gorgeous and your towels were adorable ...all is right with the world.

Those are fantastic! I love the giant "t" one. I think tea towels are such a fun addition to the kitchen!
These are SO rad.
These are fun! I love collecting antique tea towels and such.
These are amazing!!! So need one for me!!
xoxo
I love the letter t one. I think when people see it and say "haha, cute TEA towel", you can be like "yeah T stands for my old turtle I had" and then they'll be like "It also stands for TEA, as in TEA towel" and then you can just look blankly at them and say "I don't get it."
Anyways, that's how I picture this whole thing playing out.
Oh my gosh, I love them...especially the T towel!
I'm quite partial to tea towels myself. So thanks for the review. These are lovely and I will have to check them out. x
Love all of these designs! That T towel is super cute and clever :)
wow these towels are cool i love the happy thought one.
So awesome, love it!:)
Wohooo... love the Union Jack!
Krystal, one thing i'd never do is question your coolness girl - i'd even say it's part of your embedded gene phenom so therefore an inherent property of the fine ass real estate here on Village. LOVE those tea towels and your review of them.
the patterns they use are fab, i could totally see making them into pillow cases too. a possible diy after all the color has bled a bit more from ye ol' Union Jack perhaps ; )
terrific review! xo ♥
I think one of our pets would be awesome, one of Bama the superstar for you guys and one of Mimi the princess for us!!!

I have a secret love for tea towels... I love the first one- the 't' towel. Cute.
Cleaver T-towl. The 'Pound' one looks pretty cool. You can never have enough.
a t towel!? genius...haha i love it.

For tea towels, these are awesome! a random fact? for some reason about 50% of the gifts I receive are tea towels... mostly from andreas's family and my mom's friends, but it is kinda weird... Maybe they are hinting that I need to be a better house wife.... ? :)
