an artists eye

when i take photographs, the ones that mean the most to me are captured when something I see makes me feel - when something i see is begging to be made in to something tangible. the photos taken from this post by Li+Belle at her blog remind me of that feeling - I love them =)
Happy sunday guys!

On the flip side, nothing is more frustrating to me than not being able to capture the feeling I want to in a picture. Those are absolutely gorgeous.
Oh, such a mood..the blues..real blues..of the train.
Beautiful shots. Photography is one of the most personal ways of expressing yourself.

My favourite is the first. I can almost feel the story behind these images. Art is here to inspire. Warmly hope you are well and enjoying summer. xx
These are so so gorgeous. It depicts exactly how I feel about trains in Europe.
Hi! These are really cool -- you can totally imagine sitting on a fast-moving train and glancing out the window at these scenes! Hope you're well :))
Hi girl...
Great use of color in the last one:)
Have a great week...
Isn't it amazing how the camera sees things we don't?
Many, many thanks for the link and the praise. I am really happy.:)
YES. the desperate loneliness of train tracks gets me every time.
I LOVE photos of train rails! And i love to take them myself too! Rails always give me this feeling of lemancholy (because of all the trainrides I went on in my life) and also the feeling of wanderlust (because of the many places they might take me in the future). :)
beautiful and they exude depth.
i love how the lines of the train tracks show up in these! i definitely get a good feeling from these too, like they belong from a memory i've had before...
These pictures are amazing! Thanks for sharing.
So true. And I love how personal these images feel!

and, girl, you have a serious artists eye!!
I do know what you mean though, to look at the world through a lens makes you look a little more carefully.

you really are so talented!
the photos i return to are the ones that are technically good. but the ones that remain within me are the ones that trigger emotions, regardless of their technical merit.
yes and more YES! i was walking home today along the seawall and something i think quite often is how amazing it would be if our eyes could capture those images we see at intervals. gosh girl, i am so with you about feeling the moment and being able to freeze it for all time. lovely post and tender share! ♥
that last photo is quite gorgeous and calm
