A Knitting Clock?

Monday, May 23, 2011

My friend Dimitri (of Newly Swissed fame) sent me the article on this clock thinking I'd like it - umm yes! Now I don't have to learn how to knit! right?

Did you have a good weekend? Mine was terrific - it included much hiking and patio'ing and no technology. So much hiking that walking is a bit problematic today as in walking down steps is nearly impossible...so fun! (I always mean to take pics during the w/e to share here but I always forget by saturday and then I'm ocd and can't just show half of the w/e - it's all or nothing, you know?!)

P.S. Stay tuned for a cute EL Vintage giveaway ;)
P.S.S. I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, will visit you soon!

i love hiking and i love the ache you always get in your legs. it's a reminder that you really "worked" for something and, i'm not really sure how to explain it, but i've always associated it with being alive and really living. that probably sounds silly, but there you have it :)

Very strange but quite cool...sounds like a fab weekend. I know I always have the best intentions to take pic's but sometimes the weekend just slips by especially when the weather is nice. Good woman with the hiking, I did another 10K run on sat felt that on sunday ;)

And I feel you on the inability to do stairs properly! I shot a wedding on the weekend and didn't realise how much squatting was required. My legs burn!

Quirky but nice. People who knit always insist it's easy but I don't find it so!

Woah! That is incredible! Reminds me of Mrs. Weasley's magic knitting needles.

Your w/e sounds so wonderful, I love time outdoors, technology free! I do the same hung w pictures...so bad at remembering - doh! My w/e was more of the relaxing nature, but enjoyable, quick as always!

as for hiking, along with bike riding, it's one of the few exertions i will allow myself. :) love that sort of ache, the feeling of having done your body good.
