Fournier {for women and children}

Thursday, May 19, 2011

That..is a cute dress for the kiddos. I don't have them but I assume that I will some day?

So when I do actually have the kids, I think Fournier is going to be my first stop for shopping for them. Many of you might be familiar with Anabel and her blog, And so I Whisper - and have stayed udpated as she has launched this shop - it has been fun to watch!  I love the hats and scarves and bloomers - but even more so, I love why it was created - I love Anabel's mission. Anabel founded Fournier in 2004 while on a trip to Bolivia - since then she has been working directly with artisans in a partnership that works towards alleviating poverty and creating beautiful (eco friendly!) things from a region renowned for its craftmanship.

So anyway, until I have those kids, I can stalk Fournier's le-lovely accessories for women!

P.S. Does anyone else have an overactive imagination that convinces you that you are you know, with child, and then you have to find out - and then you realize you're not but even worse, you realize you should cut down on that yummy swiss bier or you're going to at least look like you are? yeah me either.

Thanks for sharing! I love finding out about organizations like this: style with a mission of the heart.

So, um, yeah I do the same thing it goes something like, "I must be or why else would my stomach look like this?" and then I'm not. :(

I loved the p.s....

Great colors in this post. Love the scarf. I'm working on a circular scarf at the moment. I've never crocheted one before. But the scarf is inspiring.

Oh, keep smiling and enjoy that husband of yours.

My mom used to get that. Being pregnant. Her classroom kids decided on this about 2 months before she was going to a new school to teach. Anyway, they thought she was going to have twins & they were extra nice to her. She hated to tell them it wasn't happening. Then, at her next teaching position, she did get pregnant with my little brother.

So love the simplicity of this outfit. I'd wear something like that.

I agree, the company sounds great, giving back to the community. and since Beli is in a phase of wearing more dresses and goes through all her clothes to pick the right outfit (yeap, she is a girly girl..everyday I have to pick up piles and piles of clothes and return them to the drawers to repeat it all over the next day)..so I will have to stop by and check it out, that dress you posted looks very comfortable and like the color.

When I gain a pound I think "I must be pregnant! There is no other possible explanation for this weight gain!" Ha, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who imagines everything out of thin air. Or, not so thin air (for me at least!)

Hahaha I can totally relate, I had one of those moments a few weeks back. Not only did I look like I was having twins, but I was throwing up every morning... Worst week of my life!

clothes for kiddos are super cute, i always wonder if they have them for adults. no kiddos for me. if i ever get super fat it's because of all the food and beer, not because of a screaming child that took hours to push out and caused me pain during labor. LOL

seriously just laughed out loud at your overactive imagination comment...too funny!

Haha, I like that last blurb you put in this post! I actually have this weird condition (have to get myself checked by a doctor, but I've been too lazy) where gas fills my tummy so big that I feel pregnant, and it doesn't go away for a couple of hours! NOT FUNNY!! Haha. It really sounds funny actually.

I like looking at kids' clothes too. I actually bought this sailor dress that I couldn't resist getting in case I get a girl in the future!
