Before I Die..

Wednesday, May 4, 2011

This project by public installation artist, Candy Change is nothing short of inspiring - the real kind of inspiring. Set in New Orleans, passerbys of this abandoned house write down their dreams - when it's full, it's erased and they start over. I love the idea of being able to read the hopes of the people around you in your community...if anything, we'd realize we're all more similar at the core than we are different. That's where real change will start ;)

This is such an inspirational project! And so true. At the core we are all far more alike than we realise and maybe if people appreciated this they'd be a hell of a lot less hate in the world.

This is actually a great idea - and it shows that many people want to be like before they have to leave this world again. Namely: to live.
Oh yes what would you write? :)

What a fantastically inspiring idea! I wish we had a wall like that here. I wonder what I would write? Something about being truly happy with myself, maybe.

What would you write?

...amazing. i am going to find this next time i'm down there.

an etsy team is a group of etsians (sellers and/or buyers) who form a little team based on a common theme. for instance, i'm on team etsyrain (seattle street team), treasury tree (treasury making team), etsy blog team, where rustics reign (rustic lovers unite!) and artists (also a treasury making team).

um. i may have gone a bit overboard.

Hi Krystal! Gosh I've missed you. Wonderful post. I imagine this is going to be a book soon enough. I did something like this at a party once. We all filled in the blanks on little slips of paper and then one person read them out loud later and we had to guess who wrote which one - was very fun. Thank you for stopping by my shops and hearting my new one, so so nice of you. I WILL keep in touch of course!
