The day to day

I had to share this calming moment from home today - the evening sun was flooding the apartment, bama was nestled in to his bed by the window (where he usually keeps watch over the yard) and the smell of zucchini bread filled the apartment. It was happy =) (except i burnt the top of the bread...)

Sigh...a dog's life (rough, huh? ;)). Sorry to hear of your bread's untimely browning (or blackening). Maybe you can just scrape off the burned top and salvage it?!?!?

one day when you came visit Vancouver I'll take you to Victoria. I've found some great vintage shops from my recent trip and I've been dying to go back since. Bama looks so cozy and warm. Makes me feel like I need a K9 friend.

Hi Krystal! This photo just makes me crave even more to have my own apartment one day! I would love to just spend the day after work with my cat and drinking some hot chocolate. Bama looks so peaceful!

Your comment makes me want to rearrange my priorities. Sometimes I get so caught up in blogging and I barely socialize because of it. I definitely need to relax! xoxoxoo

great photo - the light is wonderful. What I would give to be a dog today, really didn't feel like getting out of bed. Finding a warm and sunny spot to sleep through the day would suit me just fine!

if it makes you feel any better I managed to switch the baking soda/powder TWICE in a row on my banana bread...third time was the charm (that and cleaning the oven) I may be a distracted baker...I blame my dog.
