I find them very pretty, too.
Am especially keen on the first;-)
Yes, I attended some of the fashion shows in Zürich. Pity I missed you;-)

Scarves are really cool.
Just little pieces of style to add to an otherwise basic and simple outfit. Perfect!

Do you have any good ideas for how to wear scarves in a day-to-day setting?
I just bought like two or three lovely scarves and I'm not sure what to do with them!

I LOVE vintage looking scarves. Actually, I love scarves in general. When I was a kid, my grandma would always give me these vintage scarves, but I couldn't appreciate it then. Recently, however, I've digged up all these scarves in my drawers and brought them out to use!

They both look like they could go either way. I prefer the vintage look, either the real thing or just inspired by.

shari @ little blue deer said...

Oh man, I am all about a silk scarf! I'm good with either one, but I would prefer a Hermes! XX!

Anne said...

I wish I could get away with wearing a nice scarf but alas, my style has still yet to evolve.

My great grandma had a TON of vintage scarfs when she passed away I took a lot of them.... I also went through the wearing it has a hippie headband stage. I have a soft spot for vintage accessories.

there *is* something about the real thing, but some day the vintage looking scarf will be considered vintage too! :) that is, if the dog doesn't eat it.

I really do like them both!

PS And no...not doing St. Nicholas and Christmas for a course :) (But maybe I should!) It's just what I do. Something about the 3rd and 4th centuries has always really captured my fancy... I think it's because that's when so much really started to change for the better on a big scale in our world.

I have many scarves, but I must learn how to tie them into cure knots. Lol. Both scarves are beautiful.

I like them both, but the first scarf with the elephant print can be mixed with so much. Like...a cream vintage dress with lace pintucks, a cool wide leather red belt, with suede boots in oyster grey and patterned tights.
