to be in any one of these places...

aren't they fun!
(via)

We have more people come visit us in Switzerland than we did in Iowa...weird...wonder why? :p Marks family left yesterday and we have more visitors coming on Saturday! It is so fun - I just wish it weren't so completely exhausting. I have a few days to catch up on all of your blogs now and I'm excited. It's like you're good friends who I've gone too long without talking to!
Oh, and happy labor day! Do you have fun plans? Let me know so I can live vicariously through you - I've always loved Labor day and throwing together some kind of random celebration :)

Oh my, yes, to all three places!! But I think, at the moment, since I spent the day at the kart track watching my son race all day yesterday (he did well!)that I would choose the 3rd location right now. To sit in such a tranquil and cozy place would be just perfect. Have a Happy Labor Day even if you aren't in Iowa!

All 3 look so cozy and I am hesitation between the 2nd and the 3rd... I think the 3rd accompanied by my dear friends, close family, bf and doggie sounds great!! So enjoy your visits, I know how fun it is. I am currently in the middle of the north sea on a shuttle tanker but good thing they have wireless ( I really didn't expected it!). So for the time in between testing I can do some work and catch up on blogs...hehehe!

I wouldn't mind to be in any (or all three) of the places you've pictured here. I'm in Canada and have totally been taken over by a 4 year old (my niece) who has cracked me up for days, but girl I'm gonna need a nap. Hats off to all the parents out there!!

So glad you had fun while Mark's fam visited. It can be exhausting, but it sure gets you out to take in a ton of sights!!

xoxo,
Carrie
it's been toooo long!

Oh man I'd really like to take a nap in that bed. I'm pretty tired from all our DIYing. Glad you had fun with Mark's family! It is totally exhausting. And I know what you mean by more ppl coming to visit u now. We get lots more visitors! We have one coming the day we have to move out of our rented house! eeeek I better get off ur blog and get to work!

ps. ur still coming to London for the gorilla run at the end of the month?

Hi! I totally agree with you and would probably be very happy in any of these places you featured!
Guests are such fun, aren't they? The host does tend to get very tired though; you just want to do everything and cram it all in such a short amount of time and make sure that your guests are having a blast. I find that the secret to enjoying it yourself is tea... black tea... lots and lots of black tea :)

it would be fabulouse!

i would love to spend a day in any of those places.

i am now your new follower. i hope you could follow me back.

Can I come with you?
I say, lets start with the first one for a nice relaxing week, then sleep some good, quiet nights at the second place and finish with a mountain of cakes and tea on the last.
No Labor day Down Under. We're having the most regular week that I just hope will be less cold and more sunny then the last! :)

ohhh well, when you go to them, take me with you! beautiful spots!

Right now that 3rd picture looks great. I have my book and a cup of tea and would very much enjoy lounging in one of those chairs reading. Instead I am sitting in my flat, with Jon fiddling with cables (we just had sky installed) with building work noises all around me (damn pub renovation!) and nothing exciting to do! Anywhoo, hope your well, have fun with the new visitors but give yourself some down time. You still up for a meet up in London if we can plan it?

We've had a lot of guests lately too, since everyone wants to see our new house. It's exhausting, isn't it? My husband and I have spent the last two days cleaning and working on our patio since we have family coming over this weekend!

Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

Haha- We always say that only the people who REALLY loved us came to visit in Detroit- Now everyone on FB who we haven't seen in ten years mentions they are coming into town.

Ha! I can totally understand why you have more people visit you so far away there and not so many in Iowa :)

Sad to say, I've only had one visitor come see us here... Hmmmph, and we're leaving soon. We keep fishing with beautiful thoughts and invitations, but nobody's biting. Maybe the weather?
