Day 04 - A picture of where you went today

Sunday, June 13, 2010

So earlier I was all, "Mark, we need to go somewhere so I can take a cool picture! For my blog! So they think I have a life!"
But then we didn't (so far)...so this is my home address =)
Did you know that all the shops (besides the ones at the train stations) are closed in Switzerland on Sundays? It's supposed to be a family day so everyone spends it outside. But...I'm not sure what they do on rainy Sundays like today. So I slept in, read, convinced M to do power yoga with me, studied German, and now I'm fighting off a rainy Sunday afternoon nap.
I hope you all had marvelous weekends!

I agree, stores shouldn't be closed on sundays.
Well, when the weather here is rainy I do exactly what you do.
Sometims I just sit on my sofa and turn on my laptop to search blogs

Stores totally shouldn't be closed on Sunday. Unless you're the one working in the store, hehe.

like ageeeeees ago stores used to be closed on Sundays in Montreal (Canada) but that changed somewhere in the 90's. Then I moved to the Netherlands in 2007 and my bf told me it was similar here too only it took them about 10 years longer than in Canada to decide to open them Sunday. I guess Switzerland will come its way too...but you know its the same in Spain and in PARIS!!!!!Like PARIS, the fashion capital! I've been tricked in the past in Barcelona and Paris to not leave my shopping for a Sunday otherwise I end up spending the whole day in Sephora on les champs Elysees as it is one of the only stores open in Paris and of course Louis Vuitton (where I got my PM Trevi bag!). And i wanted to say how cool I find your 30 day challenge! I am dying to do it but I have Holidays coming up so I wont be blogging much (or nothing at all).

Haha, I make a conscious effort to make sure the blogging world thinks that I have a life as well... I'm pretty cool, haha. I am still loving the challenge, though!

oh yes, i remember this. it's a lovely idea, but not so lovely when you realize you have no eggs for baking, or some such thing. :)

i lived not too far from the swiss border, though i'm ashamed i only made it to zurich once, and that a layover on a train trip to milan. i am enjoying living vicariously through your beautiful photographs though.
